Election authorities claim that pollbooks require internet access in order to accurately credit voters, despite assurances that tabulators are not connected to the internet. The man was scanning his ballot when he saw this disparity.

According to The Gateway Pundit, this “other slot” issue is similar to the issues Maricopa County had during the 2022 midterm elections. Long queues, delays in the voting process, and doubts regarding the accuracy of the vote tabulation were caused by these problems.

UPDATE: Internet has been restored at this location and I haven’t heard of any other problems since here. MULTIPLE voters told me they experienced something similar when this was first reported in the am.
