In her native state of South Carolina, Nikki Haley lost to Trump handily in the presidential primary.

Trump was predicted by NBC to win with 59% of the vote against 40% for Haley.

Based on estimations from NBC News, former President Donald Trump emerged victorious in Saturday’s GOP presidential primary in South Carolina. With this win, he now stands unbeaten in all Republican primary battles, putting him in a position to perhaps secure the party’s nominee in the coming month.
The defeat of Nikki Haley in her own South Carolina is noteworthy. Given the 50 delegates up for grabs in Saturday’s race—20 from the statewide winner and 20 from the victors in each congressional district—Trump’s impressive performance in exit surveys and preliminary data point to a possible landslide victory.
With Trump at 51% and Haley at 47% among Republican voters with college degrees, the two candidates were almost equal in the NBC exit poll. But among primary voters without college degrees, Trump commanded a commanding 75% of the vote to Haley’s 25%.
