Odysseus sets out on a mission with NASA science instruments in addition to commercial cargo. For a week, it will gather data on the moon until lunar nightfall depletes its power.
NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services program, which was established “to support development of moon landers by private-sector companies,” includes the Nova-C mission.
