Next month, former Hawaii representative Tulsi Gabbard is expected to visit the Mar-a-Lago club owned by former president Trump.
Gabbard will be the featured speaker at the 917 Society’s annual fundraiser on March 7 for a night in Palm Beach “celebrating the Constitution,” according to an invitation that was shared exclusively with The Hill.
The occasion comes after Trump, the front-runner for the Republican Party, revealed that Gabbard is one of several candidates he is considering for vice president.
The invitation states that the cost of dinner for the occasion is $1,250.
After representing Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District, Gabbard withdrew from Congress in 2021. She sided with the progressive coalition while in government and frequently supported viewpoints that were more left-leaning than those of many of her liberal House colleagues.
