Tucker Carlson has met with two well-known American exiles during his hectic trip to Moscow.
Semafor claims that Tucker Carlson, the former host of Fox News, met with NSA leaker Edward Snowden for many hours on Thursday. Snowden prioritized his family’s privacy in recent years by avoiding public appearances, despite becoming a frequent news figure after escaping to Russia.
While Snowden did not record an interview for Carlson’s video program, he did film one with Tara Reade, a former junior Senate assistant who made accusations against President Joe Biden regarding alleged sexual assault (which Biden refuted). Reade relocated to Russia last year, pushing pro-Russian policies. She was asked to talk on “weapons diversion” by the Russian UN representation in 2022, and she also hosted Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative on her YouTube channel. In 2020, Carlson made a notable statement expressing doubt about her claims.

The former whistleblower gained notoriety in Russian media prior to putting his family’s privacy first.
Following the release of several sensitive papers from the National Security Agency (NSA), Mr. Snowden was first given refuge in Russia in 2013. In 2020, he was awarded permanent residence status in the country. He said in a tweet that year that he was going to pursue dual citizenship “after years of separation from our parents, my wife and I have no desire to be separated from our son.”
The site pointed out that although Carlson allegedly spent hours in meetings with Snowden, the purpose of the meeting was not his video show.
Tara Reade, a former Senate assistant, accused President Joe Biden of sexual assault; Biden refuted the allegations. Carlson did film their interview.
