According to WPLG Miami, OJ Simpson, the infamous murder case defendant and former football legend, has been diagnosed with a deadly cancer.
Simpson, 76, is receiving chemotherapy treatment in Las Vegas after receiving a prostate cancer diagnosis, according to people familiar with the situation who spoke with the outlet.

Simpson took to X to refute rumors that he had been placed in hospice care as word of the diagnosis spread. Hospice? Hospice care? Are you discussing hospice care?Simpson made reference to NBA Hall of Famer Allen Iverson’s famous “practice” press conference in a video statement that was posted to X.
“No, I’m not in any hospice. I don’t know who put that out there, but whoever put that out there, I guess it’s like the Donald say, can’t trust the media,” he continued. “In any event, I’m hosting a ton of friends for the Super Bowl here in Las Vegas. All is well, you know. So hey guys, take care. Have a good Super Bowl weekend.”
The well-known NFL player O.J. Simpson was found not guilty in the notorious double murder case involving his ex-wife and her friend. Because of the widespread media coverage this historic case received, it was dubbed “the trial of the century”.
More than ten years later, Simpson was found guilty in a different case by a jury in Las Vegas and given a prison sentence for organizing a group of five men, two of whom were armed, in an attempt to steal sports memorabilia from an off-strip casino in Las Vegas.
