A spokesman for the Pennsylvania House Democratic Leaders expresses concern about the disturbing incident involving Representative Boyle and highlights the importance of getting him mental health treatment.
A video that’s making the rounds on social media is known to us. It is really unsettling. Representative Boyle has been candid about his struggles personally.
The fact that our dear friend and colleague is asking for assistance gives us hope. At the Capitol Steps, our dedication to providing mental health services doesn’t end. We fervently support mental health access because it is a fact that problems can and do arise for everyone, and getting help should be encouraged rather than stigmatized.
Representative Boyle from state has a past of legal issues. He was detained in 2021 and accused of harassing someone and disobeying his wife’s protection order.
