Fani Willis was involved in a troubling secret meeting that left Trey Gowdy speechless.
Following the revelation that she designated her partner, Nathan Wade, as a special prosecutor in the case against former President Donald Trump, Fani Willis, the Democratic district attorney for Fulton County, is under investigation.
On his program Sunday Night in America, Fox News host and former federal prosecutor Trey Gowdy revealed a shocking revelation. He disclosed that the controversy surrounding Willis’ improper relationship is only the start of it. There are now even more questions because of recently revealed evidence from Wade’s divorce case.
Before bringing criminal charges against Trump, former federal prosecutor Andrew Cherkasky expresses concerns regarding private meetings between Willis, Wade, and Biden, White House officials.
There were worries about President Joe Biden’s possible meddling in the election, he said.
“I think that is something that needs a very deep investigation, but even more concerning now is these reports that we hear that Fani Willis and Nathan Wade were taking meetings at the White House,” Cherkasky said. “And what I really want to know about those meetings is whether there was an improper purpose where they were trying to set the timing up so that it would interfere with the 2024 election. All of these questions need very serious answers, I think, well before we get to any potential trial against Donald Trump.”
In order to effectively exclude the former president from his campaign and lock him up in a courtroom during the pivotal election season, Willis wanted the Trump trial to begin in August.

According to Trump, Biden is the driving force behind the criminal accusations brought against him. Trump’s claim appears to be supported by the fact that White House representatives are meeting with the Fulton County DA.
In order to gather information, Willis also had meetings with the January 6 Committee members of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
“I think what’s most interesting is trying to figure out what was going on between the White House and Fani Willis and Nathan Wade,” Cherkasky said. “Those conversations are key in my mind because Joe Biden has claimed all along that he’s not been involved in the prosecutions of Donald Trump, that he’s tried to keep a distance from that, but if there’s direction coming from the top, in order to essentially manipulate this prosecution to be something that benefits Joe Biden or the Democrats in the 2024 election, then to me, it feels very much like what they’re complaining about Donald Trump doing back in 2020.”
Cherkasky urges the Justice Department and prosecutors to refrain from interfering in the political process, highlighting how crucial it is for fairness.
