It’s Willis who is being investigated.

Fani Willis was dealt a blinding blow in court.

By designating a man with whom she reportedly had an affair as the special prosecutor in the Trump 2020 election investigation, Willis is charged with misappropriating state and federal funds and breaking Georgia’s rules regarding conflicts of interest.

There were rumors that Willis used money from her position to pay for trips with Nathan Wade, the man she allegedly had an affair with, which raised questions about potential kickbacks.

The divorce case between Wade and his estranged wife Jocelyn gave rise to the accusations regarding Wade and Willis’ liaison.

Wade’s contract with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office began the day he filed for divorce.

Divorce records revealed Wade bought plane tickets under Willis’ name.

Willis was subpoenaed by Jocelyn Wade to testify at a divorce hearing and provide information on the alleged affair.

Willis and Wade were granted a short respite through a last-minute arrangement.

ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!

“A court order signed by Cobb County Superior Court Judge Henry Thompson indicated that special prosecutor Nathan Wade ‘entered into a temporary agreement addressing all issues presently before the court,’” The Hill reported.

“The documents include bank statements that appear to show purchases of flights for him and Willis to San Francisco and Miami,” The Hill also reported. “Willis was then subpoenaed in the divorce case, but a judge temporarily paused her deposition until after Wade was questioned.”

Willis is only given a little window of time by this choice.

Judge Scott McAfee mandated that Willis reply to co-defendant Mark Roman of Trump by February 2 in order to address his demand to have Willis removed from the case due to a conflict of interest.

Should Willis be removed from the case, her whole office would be removed as well, and Republican State Attorney General Chris Carr would have to appoint a replacement prosecutor.

Harder said than done, since any honorable prosecutor would find it unappealing to link their reputation and future career to this terminally flawed witch hunt due to the irreversible harm done to Willis’ allegations.
