Officer Lazarus also stated in his trial testimony that he returned to the Capitol building after hearing gunfire over the Capitol Police radio. It’s important to remember, too, that this occurrence happened after Dunn and the Oath Keepers had supposedly finished interacting.
Defense attorneys’ ability to provide incriminating evidence that may have cleared the accused was put in jeopardy when videos that were essential to the defense’s case were mysteriously withheld from them.
