Despite having had all recommended vaccinations and booster shots, Musser was diagnosed with “a severe case of COVID” by his fiancé Paige Press, according to Fox News. She believes that Musser’s death was caused by COVID.

Press expressed their sorrow on Musser’s Instagram page:

He was a very healthy person. I mean he took exceptional care of his body and what went into it. He’d eat some cookies and that was the worst thing I ever saw him do.

Alec was a wonderful man. He was the best fiancé. The best dog dad. Very kind-hearted person. Seeing how many messages and people have reached out to me from his childhood…In the last couple of days, people I’ve never even met, sending me photos from him from high school and when he was in there wedding. He was so loved and touched by so many people.

Famous comedian and actor Adam Sandler, who worked with Musser on the movie “Grown Ups,” recently posted a touching remark on social media expressing his sadness at Musser’s sudden death.

I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man.

Musser had 43 appearances on “All My Children” between 2005 and 2007. Musser got the job after taking home the trophy in the second season of the SOAPnet original series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star,” as the New York Post reported.

He then became a star of television series and films, including the aforementioned “Grown Ups,” “Road to the Altar,” and Desperate Housewives.

Musser captivated audiences all over the world during his prosperous career as an actor and model. He made a lasting impression everywhere he went, working with well-known clients including Gianfranco Ferré, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Speedo, and Target.

Musser, a New York City native born in 1973, went to California after finishing his schooling at the Westminster School in Simsbury, Connecticut. After that, he continued his education at the esteemed University of San Diego.
