Nikki Haley, a former governor of South Carolina and a Republican contender for president, made headlines recently when she bought an opulent waterfront home in the affluent beach town of Kiawah Island. Reputed for its exclusivity, immaculate golf courses, and hosting famous visitors, this acquisition has drawn a lot of interest.
This purchase happened in October 2019, about five months after she joined the board of directors for Boeing, the leading company in the aerospace industry, according to the New York Post.

In March 2020, Hailey announced her resignation from the Boeing board, citing the company’s efforts to obtain federal support during the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to receiving over $300,000 in cash and stock from the company, she had over $700,000 in consulting fees prior to her resignation.
Haley still makes over $250,000 as a director for United Homes Group. Not even to mention future equity grants and other benefits.

“Nikki, you were bankrupt when you left the UN. After you left the UN, you became a military contractor. You actually started joining service on the board of Boeing, whose back you scratched for a very long time, and then gave foreign multinational speeches like Hillary Clinton did. And now you’re a multimillionaire. That math does not add up. It adds up to the fact that you are corrupt,” said Ramaswamy.
