During a recent interview on “Moby Pod,” Hunter Biden boldly claimed that Republicans were trying to hurt him because he was looking into his business dealings and there were allegations of improper influence. He compared the investigation to a “Russian disinformation campaign” and blamed former President Donald Trump for his indictment, even though he was facing fresh tax-related charges.
“I recognize that none of this is necessarily about me. They are trying to, in their most illegitimate way, but rational way, they’re trying to destroy a presidency,” Biden said. “And so it’s not about me. In their most base way, what they’re trying to do is they’re trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle. And so therefore, destroying a presidency in that way. And so I realized that, that it’s not about me.”

On Thursday, Special Counsel David Weiss unveiled a detailed indictment. The nine-count indictment lists several tax-related offenses. Hunter Biden is accused of withholding taxes for a number of years and using the money for things like prostitution and illegal drug use.
The most recent step in the investigation into Hunter’s business transactions and his father’s possible involvement is the indictment. Even though Biden denied the allegations, multiple people who have collaborated with Hunter have given sworn testimony that contradicts the president’s assertions.

So, there you go, there’s your hate,” he said, adding that the allegations against him have the hallmarks of a “Russian disinformation campaign.”

There’s…eliminationist rhetoric. Eliminationist rhetoric was something that the Nazis came up with as a tool to undermine their political rivals. And then Putin has fine-tuned it,” Biden claimed.
