According to a report by Francesca Block of The Free Press, Neville Roy Singham, an American entrepreneur who made millions after founding and selling the IT consulting firm Thoughtworks, and his wife Jodie Evans, a co-founder of the left-wing anti-war group Code Pink, have been the main funders of The People’s Forum since 2017. The ensemble presents itself as a“movement incubator for working class and marginalized communities” and “nurtures the next generation of visionaries and organizers who believe that through collective action a new world is possible.”
