As per the charter, entry into Hamas’s Gaza residence requires an access pass.
Using deceptive language, a UN representative claims that Israel cannot use its right to self-defense against the Hamas terrorists who invaded and killed 1,400 innocent civilians on October 7.

Semantics is a topic of active debate for Francesca Albanese, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights’ special rapporteur for Palestinians.
She contends that Article 51 of the US charter provides a precise definition for the term “self-defense”. According to her, this definition does not give the Jewish state the right to defend itself against Hamas terrorists who have taken up residence there and killed 1,400 innocent civilians.
Albanese contends that Hamas is based in “occupied territory,” characterizing Israel’s defense of its citizens as illegal, according to a Washington Free Beacon report. Albanese feels that a threat should come from “another state.”
“Under Art 51, use of force in #SelfDefense is permissible solely to repel an armed attack by another State,” Albanese claimed. “Threats from armed groups from within occ. territory give state the RIGHT TO PROTECT ITSELF, but not to wage war against the state from which the armed group emanates.”
Regarding Israel’s effort to eliminate the threat to its citizens, she went on, “The attacks are clearly indiscriminate, disproportionate and violate the principle of precaution. One cannot bomb hospitals hosting hundreds of patients and sheltering thousands of refugees. Sorry, we need to look for another solution, and not to bomb hospitals. Absolutely not. This is criminal.”
Despite what Hamas claims, an Israeli rocket did not target a Gaza hospital, which is why 500 people were reportedly killed. The hospital’s parking lot was actually damaged by a misfired Hamas rocket.
As reported by The Free Beacon, “The day after Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack that killed more than 1,400 Israelis, mostly civilians, Albanese said she was ‘horrified by the narrative’ that focused outrage on Hamas for the attack. She also condemned Israel’s ‘militarized settler colonial occupation’ and violence against ‘defenseless Palestinians.’”

In actuality, reports verify that the terrorists from Hamas brought drugs with them to lessen their own emotional sensitivity and instructions on how to carry out atrocities, like beheading infants and burning entire families alive, which they actually did.
The United Nations, which has a long history of criticizing Israel, has once again denounced Israel’s actions taken in self-defense.
Secretary General Antonio Guterres discusses the incidence of Hamas terror attacks while acknowledging the interdependence of the political landscape.
