In a rare interview, Israeli President Yitzchak Herzog acknowledges Shani Louk’s untimely death to German news organization BILD.
22-year-old German-Israeli tattoo artist Shani Louk disappeared after a colorful rave in the northern Negev. Tragically, at least 260 partygoers lost their lives as a consequence of a brutal incursion by Hamas terrorists during the celebration.

According to early accounts, Shani Louk was slain after being sexually raped and her corpse was shown across Gaza as a horrifying terrorist trophy. Unsettling photos and videos showed the militants carrying Louk’s body through Gaza while spitting on her and shouting, “Allahu Akbar!” (God is excellent).
“Only now we got the note that Shani Louk has been confirmed as murdered and dead,” President Herzog stated.
“They found her skull, which means these barbaric, sadistic animals, moles, simply chopped off her head when they were attacking and torturing and killing Israelis. It’s a huge tragedy,” he continued.
“This means that these barbaric, sadistic animals simply chopped off her head as they attacked, tortured and killed Israelis. It is a great tragedy and I extend my deepest condolences to her family.”
“I send a lot of condolences to the bereaved family. She was a beautiful [22-year-old] who went to a music festival, nature festival in Negev, right near the border,” Herzog added.

Adi Louk, Shani Louk’s sister, shared the news of her passing on Instagram Story, writing, “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of my sister, Shani Nicole Z.L. [may her memory be a blessing], who was on October 7, 2023, at the party massacre in Re’im.”
The Daily Mail stated:
Family is notified by Israeli Defense Forces that a 22-year-old’s skull bone has been discovered.
A critical piece of evidence has been found by IDF and Zaka volunteers: a bone that is attached to the base of a skull and is essential for life. Its identity has been verified as belonging to Ms. Louk by DNA examination.
Additionally, Orión Hernández Radoux, a Mexican national and Ms. Louk’s boyfriend, has apparently been kidnapped by terrorists.
When her family discovered she was alive and stuck in Gaza, they were incensed and openly criticized the German government for ignoring their cries for help.
Following her captivity, Ms. Louk’s aunt Orly Louk and uncle Wilfried Gehr make a tearful plea to the German authorities in a touching televised interview on the program “ZDF heute.”

“We now have further information that Shani is alive, but has a severe head injury and is in critical condition,” The mother spoke with Bild, a German news agency.
