According to the most recent Quinnipiac survey, President Trump has a slim advantage over his rival Joe Biden, with 47% of respondents supporting Trump to 45% for Biden. It’s interesting to note that while Biden’s support has slightly decreased by one percentage point from the previous June survey, Trump’s support has remained constant. The tight race between the two candidates demonstrates their fierce rivalry.

Trump currently has a 40% favorability rating, narrowly beating out Biden’s 39% rating.

The most recent poll, which was carried out between September 28 and October 2, provides Pennsylvania’s registered voters a voice. The results are certain to have an impact because there is just a 2.4 percentage point margin of error.

Biden received unsatisfactory results from Redfield & Wilton Strategies’ research director, Philip van Scheltinga, who was appointed to oversee the polls.

“Democrats need to think hard about whether to stick with Biden as their candidate. Our polling shows that they cannot expect a rerun of 2020 to have the same result,” he said.

“If they run the same strategy as they did in 2020 – counting on voters’ distaste for Trump — they will lose,” he said.
