45 Republicans from the Uniparty express their displeasure with the eight Republican Representatives who voted against Kevin McCarthy’s confirmation as House Speaker.
45 Republicans argue that Kevin McCarthy, regarded for his weak and timid leadership, is in fact one of the most accomplished Republican leaders in recent history.

According to Insider
In just one week, a large number of House lawmakers attempted to remove Kevin McCarthy as speaker. Now, a brave group of 45 Republican legislators has banded together to seek critical changes to chamber rules.
Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz wastes no time in calling McCarthy’s leadership into question, filing a forceful “motion to vacate” petition. Democrats and Republicans join forces in a historic move that results in McCarthy’s expulsion from his position for the first time in US history.
Rep. Patrick McHenry is serving as the House’s temporary speaker as the chamber searches for a new permanent speaker. However, some Republicans are attempting to ensure that the future speaker does not face the same problems as McCarthy.
In a letter acquired by Punchbowl News, 45 Republican Representatives express shame and embarrassment. They refuse to let the eight members who abandoned their Conference make policy decisions and choose the Speaker for the rest of this Congress.
While the letter states that the members feel modifications should be made to House rules surrounding filing a “motion to vacate,” it does not name any specific changes. Currently, only one member of the House is required to make a “motion to vacate,” a rule that has been in place for the overwhelming majority of the last few centuries.
The RINOs who signed the letter are listed below.
