Heron sprang out of the car in a dramatic scene, causing a revolver to fall out of his jeans. The lady boldly faced the attacker as the situation became more tense, only to have Heron point the gun to her head.
“Cody Heron, who was recklessly riding his motorcycle through the heavily populated streets of Center City Philadelphia while carrying a firearm, senselessly assaulted an innocent woman and her children who were simply going about their evening,” William Fritze, an assistant district attorney, stated in a statement.
Heron was charged with 19 offenses and given a $2.5 million bond.
In spite of harsh criticism for his divisive “criminal justice reform” initiatives, such as abolishing cash bail for a number of charges, Soros-backed District Attorney Larry Krasner confronts a notable exception in this instance.
