According to individuals who talked with ABC News, a covert investigation investigating President Joe Biden’s handling of sensitive materials throughout the course of his decades in public life has expanded in scope to include as many as 100 witnesses.
Special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation has included meetings with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and other senior members of the Biden administration who might be familiar with the specifics of the president’s handling of sensitive information, his note-taking routines, and who he entrusted to carry both. Hur has committed to carry out an inquiry that is “fair, impartial, and dispassionate” over the last nine months while also pursuing the facts “thoroughly” and “without fear or favor.”
