According to Jesse Watters of Fox News, President Joe Biden may have been protected by the charges against Hunter Biden.
Watters contends that the Justice Department is purposefully avoiding implicating President Biden and that their choice to charge Hunter with felony gun possession while also being a drug user gives them a useful distraction from the mounting evidence that suggests Biden may have helped his son secure lucrative lobbying deals with foreign corporations.
“This is the only crime that doesn’t involve Joe Biden, and it’s the only one that’s being prosecuted. Think about that. This just lets the Justice Department save face and say ‘See? Take this seriously. We’re holding Hunter accountable.’ And then he’ll just cut another deal after the election or get pardoned,” said Watters.
Democrats’ attempts to defend Biden are suffering a great deal from the never-ending revelations regarding Biden’s connection with Hunter’s lobbying activities, which has led to allegations as well.
“Today they’ve been forced to admit that Hunter Biden’s business partner was Joe Biden’s accountant when he was vice president. And this just in: Joe Biden had lunch at the vice president’s residence with Hunter’s Kazakhstani business partners,” one of those people, it should be noted, is not incarcerated.
“Wonder how Joe likes his eggs,” Watters quipped.
