Unexpected Twist: Democrat’s Brutal Biden Takedown

President Joe Biden and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas have received a letter from Congressman Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey’s Second Congressional District that is sharply worded. In the letter, he blasts the Biden administration’s border policy, calling them “reckless” and “weak.”

The Congressman, who just switched parties, vehemently disagrees with the idea of transporting undocumented immigrants to Atlantic City International Airport.

Secret government manifestation pill đź’Š?

Van Drew harshly lambasted the current administration, charging that they were to blame for “record-setting inflation” and that they were taxing the people of South Jersey with their wasteful spending.

He presented a strong case in his letter for sparing his constituents the expense of hosting a sizable number of undocumented immigrants. He emphasized that the lax border policies of the Biden administration are what led to this predicament.

The 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard is based out of Atlantic City International Airport, which the congressman mentioned as a source of concern for national security. “This not only undermines national security efforts but also potentially compromises the vital missions carried out by our military personnel at the airport,” Van Drew wrote.

Van Drew emphasized how paradoxical it is that even “sanctuary cities” like New York City, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco are having trouble managing the influx of migrants. “Atlantic City and its resources are already stretched thin; we simply cannot afford the additional financial and public safety burdens,” he stated.

“To put it bluntly, it is time for your administration to take ownership and resolve the crisis it has perpetuated, rather than passing the buck to those who had no part in creating it,” Van Drew wrote, requesting that the airport in Atlantic City, New Jersey, not be considered for housing refugees.

The letter from Van Drew draws attention to a clear leadership issue within the Biden administration. With his adamant resistance to the suggested migrant relocation, he adds to the mounting worries about the “worst administration in history.”

Reading the entire letter:

Dear Secretary Mayorkas and President Biden:

I want to express my vehement objection to the proposed relocation of illegal aliens to the Atlantic City International Airport as the representative of New Jersey’s Second Congressional District. Because of this administration’s reckless spending, the inhabitants of South Jersey are already dealing with soaring inflation. It is unreasonable to want taxpayers to cover the costs of housing thousands of illegal immigrants who entered our nation thanks to your administration’s inadequate border controls.

WATCH: Church Leaders PRAYED you’d never see this…

As indicated by our approval of H.R. 1, House Republicans have continuously placed a high priority on border security. Act to Secure the Border, Section 2. But it’s worrying that the Biden Administration hasn’t done enough to safeguard Americans and secure the southern border. The risk to our national security increases as a result of the choice to shelter illegitimate migrants at a major airport that simultaneously serves as the operational base for the 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This compromises key efforts for national security and might have an effect on the vital tasks carried out by our military men at the airport.

Because of the present administration’s policy, even’sanctuary cities’ like New York City, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco are being overrun by new migrants. The additional financial and public safety responsibilities that come with sheltering a sizable migrant community in non-sanctuary areas are too much for Atlantic City, which already has limited resources.

Instead of shifting blame to those who are not at fault, your administration must take action and deal with the problem it has caused.

The migrant problem in New York City draws attention to the shortcomings of your immigration rules and the lack of penalties for unauthorized entry into the country. This issue would not be resolved by merely shifting the burden to South Jersey and Atlantic City; instead, it would be moved, which would have a negative effect on the residents of my district. Instead of merely shifting it around, let’s deal with the underlying problem.

We fervently contend that it is unfair to hold us responsible for choices we did not make or endorse. Therefore, we sincerely request that no consideration for this proposal be given to the Atlantic City International Airport or any other federally owned facilities within our jurisdiction.

Sincerely,
Jeff Van Drew
Member of Congress
