After speaking with Fox News Channel’s Brian Kilmeade, former Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin turned a potential into a strong possibility.
In response to pressure from then-Vice President Joe Biden, Shokin was dismissed by Ukrainian President Poroshenko.
Shokin acknowledged looking into Burisma, the Ukrainian oil corporation that has Hunter Biden on its board of directors.
“I have said repeatedly in my previous interviews that Poroshenko fired me at the insistence of the then-Vice President Biden because I was investigating Burisma,” Shokin stated.

Shokin disclosed that Joe Biden effectively ordered his dismissal.
“You understood me correctly. This is how it was,” Shokin continued. “There were no complaints whatsoever and no problems with how I was performing at my job. But because pressure was repeatedly put on Poroshenko, that is what ended up in him firing me.”

“I’m going to be leaving here in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch, he got fired and they put in place someone who was solid,” Biden declared.
Shokin was confident in the veracity of a private source who claimed that the creator of Burisma had reportedly paid Joe Biden a stunning $5 million in bribes to get him ousted from his post.
“I do not want to deal in unproven facts, but my firm personal conviction is that, yes, this was the case,” Shokin declared. “They were being bribed. And the fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal, my firing — isn’t that alone a case of corruption?”
Republicans would be given the authority to demand important bank records and papers in their quest to substantiate Shokin’s claims if an impeachment investigation were to be launched.
If Joe Biden loses the next election, he might face consequences like as impeachment and a potential criminal probe.
