In a statement on the House floor on Tuesday, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) made a passionate plea for President Joe Biden’s impeachment. Greene explained her justification for why she thinks the House GOP “must” launch impeachment proceedings against the President, citing an abuse of authority and allegations of bribery.
Greene spoke on the earlier impeachment motion she filed on January 21, 2021, against Biden. She disclosed that, as retaliation, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has since removed her from her committee positions. Pelosi claimed that Greene’s firing was due to her contentious Facebook posts and behavior, while Greene claims that it was a result of her first efforts to have Biden impeached.
Greene compared the evidence given in the impeachment hearings of former President Donald Trump with the accusations she made against Biden. “But I’d like to roll back. President Trump was wrongfully impeached twice. And both of these impeachments must be expunged by the House of Representatives,” she said.
She said that the Democrats had utilized the Steele dossier, a flawed political opposition research document, in their arguments. “The Democrats brought out the Steele dossier… The information was later debunked by Congress, the Inspector General, and special counsel investigations,” Greene argued.

Greene produced an FBI document, the FD-1023, which contradicts the prior assertion and provides unconfirmed proof of Biden’s involvement in corrupt practices. According to Greene, this paper contains information from a trustworthy FBI informant and accuses then-Vice President Biden of taking a $5 million bribe from the head of the Ukrainian oil business Burisma. By using the threat of withdrawing USAID from Ukraine, according to Greene, Biden used his power as vice president to secure the dismissal of Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.
Greene also brought up the conversations that President Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, had about their business interests. The congressman said that a WhatsApp message in their hands revealed a conversation in which Hunter Biden and his father talk about an unfulfilled business commitment.
For a lot of reasons, there has been a firestorm raging around Hunter for a while. IRS informants asserted that the DOJ engaged in a pattern of unjustified delays, lack of openness, and Defense Council threats to “delay, divulge, and deny” the inquiry of Hunter Biden’s taxes.
The whistleblowers expressed alarm over the DOJ’s decision to forgo an investigation into a crucial WhatsApp chat. Greene said that Henry Zhao, a Chinese businessman, and Hunter Biden were engaged in this communication. If immediate payments were not provided to the Bidens, Joe Biden would “destroy” Zhao, according to Hunter’s threat in the message.

While looking into the tax responsibilities on the payments, IRS agents encountered several internal obstacles. Their testimony revealed a lack of objectivity toward the U.S. Attorney as well as odd departures from accepted investigation practices.
