Without presenting any opposition or rebuttal, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi dismissed the IRS whistleblower testimony as a “clownshow.”
She harshly blasted the Robert Kennedy Jr. hearings, the IRS whistleblower’s evidence, and the subject of Big Tech censorship during her appearance on CNN’s “State of Confusion,” calling them “ridiculous.”

DANA BASH: This past week, two IRS whistleblowers, career investigators, testified under oath that the Justice Department slow-walked the investigation into President Biden’s son Hunter and ignored recommendations to file more serious felony charges.
Are you confident that politics did not play a role here?
REP. NANCY PELOSI: Well, it was a — since you reference the hearing, what a ridiculous clownshow, again, on the part of the Republicans.
This was the goal you mentioned. How did they act? Bring in Joe Kennedy complaining about censorship, that he’s being censored, as he addresses the nation in a congressional hearing, and presenting images that have nothing to do with the core of it.
BASH: I think you mentioned Robert — Robert F. Kennedy. But on the —
PELOSI: Excuse me. I’m sorry.
BASH: That’s OK. There are lot of Kennedys.
PELOSI: Robert.
BASH: Did you — do you feel confident no politics by the DOJ?
PELOSI: Well, the district — the U.S. attorney was a Trump appointee, a Trump appointee.
Whistleblowers are people that I greatly appreciate. But it’s crucial to admit that they weren’t given a fair chance to argue their case during the most recent hearing. Distractions like the usage of photographs and Robert F. Kennedy’s less-than-stellar presentation ruined the proceedings.

Concerning the statement of the whistle-blower, I have doubts. The accusation was made by a US attorney who has ties to Trump. It is crucial to emphasize that this is their viewpoint alone and does not represent the opinions of anybody else in attendance.
Introducing the idea of a “clownshow”: when a leader rejects serious accusations of corruption with insults to his or her character, despite proof provided by informants, emails, messages, former partners, and bank records. Although this conduct is intrinsically petty, it regrettably is not shocking coming from partisan Democrats like Nancy Pelosi. She seems to be oblivious to corruption’s risks, even when they endanger the security of our country.
