Several advisers claim that President Trump has reportedly lost interest in picking Lake as his running mate.
According to The Daily Beast, one “advisor added that, in recent months, Trump has been less enthusiastic about Lake himself.”
“Two Trump advisers who spoke to The Daily Beast said the heart of Trump’s frustration with Lake is that, in his eyes, she always wants attention,” The Daily Beast reported as well.
If there is a second Trump administration, Lake may take over as press secretary, according to Trump advisers. This is based on Lake’s outstanding campaign performances, where he managed the media skillfully.
“I think she is an effective surrogate, but I’m not sure she will be a VP pick,” One of Trump’s associates mentioned Lake possibly holding the position of press secretary to The Daily Beast.
Donald Trump is looking for a running partner who would support his MAGA program and help him win as many votes as possible.
The candidates to pay special attention to right now are Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Florida Congressman Byron Donalds.
