The legal department of Fox News Channel sent Carlson a cease-and-desist letter requesting that he stop posting any fresh footage to his Twitter account.
By posting a recent episode of “Tucker on Twitter” in violation of Fox News’ letter attempting to restrict him, Carlson challenges their attempt to do so.
Fox News wants to ban Carlson off the airways until the end of his contract, which expires in December 2024, in an effort to win back the confidence of its viewers.
Carlson, though, has effective choices at his disposal.
Currently representing Carlson, Harmeet Dhillon used to often appear on Fox News.
Dhillon hasn’t been active on the network lately.
Dhillon posted on Twitter about her decision to boycott Fox News and her opposition to the network’s efforts to stifle free expression. Fox restrained Carlson from reporting on the Ukraine War and January 6; this contributed to the current predicament.
Dhillon claims that Fox News is trying to slant the news in a way that supports the establishment’s viewpoint, leading to censorship.

“For all the friends who have been asking ‘why don’t we see you on Fox anymore?’ — This is why. I am passionately committed to free speech and a free flow of information necessary for a free society. Until Fox stops trying to silence Tucker, it’s not a place for me. And I feel for my friends working at the network which has clearly caved into pressure from some quarter to silence @TuckerCarlson. What you are seeing on Fox today is a censored version of the news. Keep that in mind as you make your viewing and your commenting choices,” Dhillon wrote.
Dhillon calls on well-known conservatives to band together and boycott Fox News.
“For all the members of Congress, culture warriors, ‘influencers,’ @GOP officials — do you really want to air your views on a network that spits on its viewers, leaks oppo on its own talent, and even threatens former talent for speaking, for free, on @Twitter?! You have free will!”
