Former President Trump is greeted warmly at a nearby Waffle House after speaking to the Georgia Republican Convention following his indictment
Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief of National Pulse, recorded the former president saying “Waffles on Trump” to customers as he entered the establishment through the front door.

Customers laughed as Trump added, “Hey look, we have the fake news media,” gesturing to the assembled press. Trump then interacted with patrons, many of whom had also just left the convention.
“Thank you everybody for coming, such a nice crowd,” he told the customers. “I love you Donald, I love you! shouted one woman. One more suggested that the president have pecans on his waffle.
After the Department of Justice under Biden’s administration issued an extraordinary indictment, Trump made his first speech at the Georgia convention.
The former president received a rousing greeting from his admirers during his visit to Georgia, who met him at the airport and waited hours outside the venue to hear him speak. In the midst of the jubilant welcome, he cordially greeted his supporters and shook hands with them.
Speaking to the audience, Trump affirmed his innocence and promised to “never yield.”

Additionally, he compared the charges to those used by the Soviet Union under Stalin and Communist China. Additionally, he claimed that “eradicating the communists” is the only way to ensure the survival of the nation.
