Pence made a big statement on his 64th birthday by announcing in a compelling video that he intends to run for politics in 2024.
In the video, Pence addresses these concerns by highlighting Joe Biden’s failings in the areas of the economy, southern border policy, and international affairs.
“The American dream is being crushed under runaway inflation. Wages are dropping, recession is looming. Our southern border is under siege, and the enemies of freedom are on the march around the world, and where, still, timeless American values are under assault as never before,” Pence stated.
Pence indirectly criticized Trump’s leadership and mannerisms without mentioning him by name. Instead, he emphasized the significance of a president who exemplifies optimism and decency, which is consistent with his own image as a kind guy. According to Pence, the Republican Party and the country need a leader who can motivate followers to behave morally and selflessly by appealing “to the better angels of our nature.”
“Today our party in our country needs a leader that will appeal as Lincoln said, ‘To the better angels of our nature.’ I have long believed to whom much is given much will be required. My family and I have been blessed beyond measure with opportunities to serve this nation, and it’d be easy to stay on the sidelines, but that’s not how I was raised. That’s why today before God and my family, I’m announcing I’m running for President of the United States. We can bring this country back,” Pence declared.
Pence is currently polling in the mid-single digits, according to the surveys.

Pence’s strategy for winning over more supporters is now unknown because many Trump supporters feel that he abandoned their leader.
