On Tuesday, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie declared his intention to run for president as a Republican in 2024. The early surveys do not seem good for him despite the fact that there is a growing group of contenders.
As a rival to former President Donald Trump, a fan of Bruce Springsteen has formally entered the electoral race. Although Trump leads in early surveys, this newcomer is prepared to oppose the established quo.
Christie entered the campaign to save the Republican Party from positions that would be detrimental to Americans. He was committed to changing things despite the difficult circumstances.
The self-described war hawk and ABC political commentator is having a difficult time in the polls. In the most recent Morning Consult rankings, he has lost ground to both Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. He is really tied with an unidentified contender who is designated as “someone else.”
The former governor’s support was far less widespread than Mike Pence’s, and even less widespread than Liz Cheney.
According to a recent survey, Trump has 56% of the support in the primary.
DeSantis had a 22 percent approval rating and was chosen as the runner-up by 47% of those questioned.
With double-digit polling results, Christie stands out as the undisputed front-runner among probable contenders. Christie is followed by or tied with Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, Govs. Greg Abbott, Kristi Noem, and Asa Hutchinson.
One percent of prospective primary voters say they would be open to a new contender entering the race, which has them yearning for new blood.
Unfortunately, Christie was not one of the two remaining candidates in the GOP primaries on Tuesday.
Did you know that Christie only enjoys the support of 30% of GOP voters? And a recent survey found that nearly 4 in 10 Americans have a strong negative opinion of him.

These figures are quite humiliating.
Christie’s first day of campaigning was unimpressive.
Due to his use of political capital in 2012, when he supported former President Barack Obama in New Jersey only days before the election, the former governor may find it more difficult to persuade people during a debate.
Despite the fact that the state had recently been destroyed by a major storm, conservatives were discouraged by the perception.
After the 2020 election, Christie exacerbated his relationships by frequently appearing on liberal networks like ABC and vocally criticizing Trump and his followers.
According to a new poll by Morning Consult, prospective voters have made it quite apparent that Christie is not wanted in the White House.
Between June 2 and June 4, Morning Consult polled 3,545 prospective Republican primary voters; the results had a margin of error of just +/- 2 percentage points.
