In the Rotunda of the Capitol last week, a squad of Capitol Police officers prevented a children’s choir from singing the National Anthem due to worries that it “might offend someone.” The choir, which was made up of young patriots, wanted to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” in the Rotunda as part of a long-standing custom to show their love for their nation.
Despite having a concert permission, police stopped a group of kids from performing in order to preserve the image of democracy that represents our country.

“We are going to have you in South Carolina, and you’re going to sing at a rally for us in front of tens of thousands of people. And we’re all going to have a great time together.
