Learn the Real Reason That Late April Saw the Demise of History’s Most Popular Cable News Host, Tucker Carlson. We Reveal Who Decided to Terminate Relations with Carlson in the End!
Top Fox Corporation and Fox News Media Executives Take a Risk by Firing Carlson
“The power that Mr. Carlson, 53, wielded outside Fox News could not insulate him from a growing list of troubles inside the network related to his conduct on and off the air, some of which had been grating on Mr. Murdoch and his father, Rupert Murdoch, the chairman of Fox Corporation, who co-founded the network in 1996, according to the two people with knowledge of the company’s decision,” it was reported.
“The host, a polarizing and unpopular figure at the network outside of his own staff, was exposed as part of a defamation lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems as a bully who denigrated colleagues and sources, often in profane and sexist language and called for the firing of Fox journalists whose coverage he disliked. He has also drawn condemnation from the right and left for his role in fostering a revisionist account of the assault on the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021,” the outlet added.
As the network deals with the fallout from recent events, Fox News could lose more well-known figures. Another report over the weekend has increased conjecture.
According to reports, a few Fox News celebrities are thinking about collaborating with former star anchor Tucker Carlson on a prospective project that might involve Twitter broadcast programming.
Finally, Carlson’s Twitter live broadcast has begun! This follows a video in which he earlier this month hinted about it. For all the information, read the report.
“Carlson’s Twitter move could have additional reverberations with talent at the network. A handful of Fox anchors have reached out to Carlson directly or had their surrogates contact him to say they are eager to join whatever venture he starts on Twitter when their contracts are up, according to sources,” Variety reported.
Tucker Carlson is now bound to Fox News by a $20 million yearly deal and is unable to join any other network. He is obligated under his contract till January 2025, which follows the reported 2024 election.
Variety reports that a clause in the most recent defamation deal with Fox required Carlson to stop broadcasting.

According to sources, on April 26, a board member of Fox Corp. told Carlson that his recent benching was a result of a deal with Dominion Voting Systems.
Carlson was advised by an unnamed board member that there was no formal agreement confirming Fox’s adherence to the settlement’s provisions. Instead, it was orally agreed that Fox had to follow the terms of the settlement or it would be invalid. Since the acquisition wouldn’t close until late May, Dominion had the advantage with the $787.5 million settlement agreement between it and Fox.
Dominion charged Fox’s well-liked anchors Hannity, Pirro, and Bartiromo with defamation over their coverage of the post-2020 election. The company’s ultimate goal, though, was to harm Fox, which is why they exerted pressure on the network to cut relations with Carlson, their top talent.
“That condition was intended to hurt Fox, and Tucker is just collateral damage,” a person with knowledge of the situation told Variety. “Dominion wanted to punish Fox, and it’s working.”
The assertion that Carlson’s termination was covered under the settlement agreement is refuted by Fox and Dominion.
Carlson plans to make use of his enormous fan following by starting a direct-to-consumer media channel. The same tactic was employed by his predecessor Bill O’Reilly, who now presents a program on The First TV, which is now accessible on DirecTV.
