The last-minute cancellation of Donald Trump’s Iowa rally was caused by severe tornado warnings in the region.
Trump visited the state virtually despite the conditions.
The Trump campaign crew in Iowa paid a visit to the home of a devout elderly couple to give them some amazing campaign merchandise and set up a phone call with the former president.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t come to the rally today, but we wanted to bring you some gear, and we got a phone call from someone who’d like to say hey, if that’s okay with you,” stated a Trump campaign employee in a video that was uploaded to Rumble.
Wonderful news! When the staff member’s phone rang, it was none other than President Trump asking to talk with the couple.
“How are you? It’s Donald Trump, and I wanted to see you today. But a little thing called tornadoes yeah, they prevailed, but I just wanted to say hello to you, and I look forward to seeing again the next time and very special people. You’ve been right from the beginning, and you’ve been with us, and you’ve been doing the Iowa caucuses for a long time, so I just wanted to say hello to you,” remarked the previous president.
“Thank you for calling, sir,” the geriatric guy remarked.
“We wanted to greet you, too. Well, we’ll take you. We’ll do that again. We’ll be there soon,” Trump said. “I will look forward to seeing you both, and we’ll have a little fun and stay healthy. I hear you’re looking just great looking people. You just stay healthy, and I’ll see you soon. Thank you for everything. We appreciate it.”
“You’re welcome, sir. Thank you,” The defender spoke up.

Latest survey results indicate that Trump is in the lead over President Biden, as the latter labels white Americans as the US’s primary “domestic terrorist threat.”
According to an ABC/Washington Post survey, Trump has a 7-point advantage against Biden, Mediaite reports.
“According to the survey, the president trails his predecessor by 7 points in a hypothetical 2024 general election matchup. Respondents were asked whether they would ‘definitely’ vote for Trump or Biden, ‘probably’ vote for Trump or Biden, or vote for someone else or not vote at all. Among those who ‘definitely’ prefer one candidate over the other, Trump leads Biden 36-32. But when those ‘probably’ voting are added to the tally, Trump’s margin balloons to 7 points — as he holds a 45-38 advantage over Biden,” the report said.
“The poll found Biden would fare only slightly better if the Republican nominee were Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). The president is tied with DeSantis 32-32 among those ‘definitely’ backing a particular candidate. But when the ‘probably’ category is added, DeSantis pulls ahead 42-37,” Mediaite added.
“President Biden’s approval numbers…are nothing short of dismal. Only 36 percent of voters approve of the job the president is doing, compared to 56 percent who do not. The approval number is down 6 points from February, the last time ABC and the Washington Post released a poll, and represents an all-time low for him in that particular survey,” the outled added.
According to survey results, a majority of respondents preferred Trump to Biden in terms of running the economy. Trump has the trust of 54%, compared to 36% for Biden.
Dick Morris, a former senior political counselor to President Bill Clinton, recently stated that a second term for Trump will result in many beneficial improvements, while a second term for Biden does not appear to offer much hope.
“On a host of those issues many, many more on the left and the right essentially agree, and they disagree with the establishment that’s in the center that wants to protect those powers,” Morris told Newsmax. “Donald Trump is uniquely positioned to deal with that.
