Trump’s Latest Plan – to ENDOW Who?

The Republican Party is fighting back against liberal principles being so prevalent on college campuses, especially DEI programs. To prevent this, a number of states have taken steps to restrict public financing for colleges that sponsor such initiatives. Former President Trump just reaffirmed this point as part of his 2024 campaign pledge.

Trump’s team unveiled his Agenda47 agenda for colleges in a video on May 2. His campaign stated in a news release that he wants to “reclaim” the educational system “from the radical Left and Marxist maniacs.” In order to safeguard pupils, the former president committed to raise educational standards and hold institutions accountable.

According to Trump, the cost of attending college is “exploding” and “academics have been obsessed with indoctrinating America’s youth.” The former President of the United States intends to require that all institutions offer a curriculum that argues “American tradition and Western civilization,” Eliminating DEI representatives “wasteful administrative positions” that raise the price of the education while offering low-cost degrees and employment placement. Additionally, he wants to use admission and exit tests. Trump intends to punish educational institutions “up to the entire amount of their endowment” if they discriminate against students on the basis of race.

With Florida Senate Bill 266, the conservative who is rumored to be Donald Trump’s GOP rival is aiming to undermine programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Governor DeSantis is anticipated to sign the legislation into law soon; it prohibits public schools and universities from spending federal or state cash on these programs.

The execution of it, according to US District Judge Mark Walker, is “positively dystopian.” The state is determined to move on with the appeals process despite this early setback to its attempts against woke culture, and President Trump now appears willing to support those efforts.
