Opening the southern border and allowing for more cross-border interchange of citizens were two steps Joe Biden took on his first day in office to strengthen ties between the United States and Mexico.
Some media outlets have made an effort to keep some important details out of the public eye when the Biden administration assumes office.
The information on Joe Biden’s management of the border issue has come to light, and it paints an unsettling image.

President Biden’s immigration proposal, which encourages increased collaboration and responsibility to provide a path toward more fair borders, is spearheaded by Secretary Mayorkas.
Alejandro Mayorkas has long supported amnesty and less stringent border enforcement practices, hence President-elect Biden’s choice of Mr. Mayorkas to run the Department of Homeland Security underscores his desire for comprehensive immigration reform.
During his hearing before the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Republican senators grilled Secretary Mayorkas rigorously.
Senator Ron Johnson vehemently opposed Secretary Mayorkas’ decision, which was widely considered as risky, to revive the capture and release strategy under President Biden.
After Donald Trump banned catch and release, the Border Patrol was forced to hold all apprehended illegal aliens. Joe Biden has overturned this decision in his first act as president, enabling individuals detained at the border to be released into the interior of America.
Johnson severely chastised Mayorkas for the wide-ranging effects of allowing millions of unauthorized immigrants to enter the country who had applied for asylum and were awaiting a court hearing.
“Somewhere between four and five million people during this administration have come to this country, but probably don’t qualify for asylum,” Johnson began.
Johnson presented an astonishing fact: more illegal immigrants were let into the country than were admitted by all 28 states put together! Such an invasion might have significant effects on our country.
“Basically, what we’re looking at is, 22 states have populations less than four million people. 28 states have populations less than five million people. That is the magnitude of the problem,” Johnson added.
The government doesn’t even have a precise tally of how many illegal aliens it let into the nation since that number excludes “got aways” — illegal aliens who managed to elude capture and are still living there covertly.
America has developed a new strategy to immigration that disavows the idea that the four million illegal residents present a problem that requires crisis management, under the direction of President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas.
Political leaders see the current situation as a chance to develop themselves.
The Biden administration is attempting to take advantage of the challenging border situation, hoping that greater pressure on Republicans would lead to an arrangement that both parties can accept, one that gives amnesty and implements strict border safety standards.
Republicans have so far refused to budge on their opposition to President Biden’s proposed immigration reform, despite the fact that illegal aliens are likely to receive amnesty and border security measures appear to have been abandoned during negotiations.
