The many military branches each have a special set of equipment that they use to achieve their goals, ranging from ships to weaponry. It goes without saying that for military personnel to assure safe and effective operations, prior preparation is extremely necessary. Unfortunately, a routine training exercise recently went horribly wrong in Kentucky, underscoring how crucial it is for military troops to be watchful and attentive during exercises.

According to CBS News, the U.S. Army was conducting a training exercise for medical evacuation by helicopter when an unforeseen accident between two aircraft took place while there were nine military people on board. At the time of the event, night vision goggles were being used to conduct “multi-ship formation” maneuvers, and Brigadier General John Lubas stated that having five people in one helicopter and four in the other is “fairly typical”; nonetheless, the cause is still unknown.
Neighbors close to the scene of a recent accident said that Blackhawks training drills frequently take place nearby. On the night of the collision, Nick Tomaszewski did observe something unusual: the Blackhawks were flying considerably lower and closer together than normal. He claimed to have seen what seemed to be a “firework” before a massive “fireball” appeared. Sometimes it is more difficult to detect anomalies when such events occur in the usual course of things.
A unit that focuses on guaranteeing aircraft safety has just been created by the US Army, and it has been sent out to look into a recent incident. The Army has withheld the names of those who died until the next of kin have been informed out of respect for the impacted families.
Andy Beshear (D), the governor of Kentucky, expressed his sincere condolences and pledged his unshakable support to the families impacted by the terrible tragedy. Obama shook hands with Tennessee Governor Bill Lee (R), expressing his desire to assist the harmed families in any manner he can during this difficult time.
