To prevent Trump from trying to turn himself into a “iconic” figure, David Axelrod, a far-left guest on CNN, recently pleaded with the Manhattan District Attorney to keep the identity of a Trump mugshot secret.
“One thing I want to say about how he [Trump] is handled on Tuesday, if I were the DA, if I were to advise him, and I’m not a lawyer, I’m a political strategist, but I would give him every courtesy that I could. I would certainly not handcuff him. I think he would love that picture,” Axelrod began. “I would make very sure that that booking photo is not released. He would turn it into t-shirts and turn himself into Che Guevara there as an iconic image,” he continued.

“I would just make sure that this goes down smoothly and that he is he is not made a spectacle of in on Tuesday because that will all play into his public relations strategy there. And the martyrdom….will play into his public relations strategy there,” he added.
A similar statement was made yesterday night on Hannity by pro-Trump Fox News guest Pete Hegseth, who claimed that a Trump photo will appear on “dorm rooms and t-shirts”:
Trump is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday at 2:15pm EST, according to reports:
When Donald Trump gets ready to face the consequences in court, time is running out. There are over 30 counts against him, and the hearing date has been set for April 4 at 2.15 p.m. EST, according to a spokeswoman. The former president is once again in the spotlight, setting the stage for a high-stakes legal drama. Keep an eye out for more developments!
Insider knowledge indicates that Trump’s legal issues have gotten worse as he now faces a whopping 30 or more counts of business fraud. The Thursday-issued indictment is creating quite a commotion. Even though the particular allegations have not yet been made public, interest in the discovery is growing. When the official announcement will be made is still uncertain.
It will be a historic moment when Donald Trump turns himself in to police in Manhattan because he will be the first former US president to be detained and charged. Unexpectedly, Trump’s legal team has reached a compromise with the prosecution that will save him the humiliation of being handcuffed upon his surrender. Even without handcuffs, the covert presence of a former commander-in-chief in a courtroom will likely go down in US history as a pivotal occasion.
Joseph Tacopina, Trump’s attorney, said to ABC: “[Trump] will not be handcuffed. They’ll certainly make an effort to ensure they enjoy themselves by flaunting him, I have no doubt.
