Joe Biden spoke on Monday about the massacre at The Covenant School in Nashville, which killed three children and three adults. “we have to do more to stop gun violence.”
In his remarks, Biden stated: “gun violence is ripping our communities apart, ripping the soul of this nation, ripping at the very soul of the nation. And we have to do more to protect our schools so they aren’t turned into prisons. You know, the shooter in this situation reportedly had two assault weapons and a pistol. Two AK-47s.”

“So I call on Congress again to pass my assault weapons ban. It’s about time that we began to make some more progress,” he added.
Biden once characterized the shooting as “sick” and “It’s heartbreaking, a family’s worst nightmare.”
Later, he clarified that families affected by school shootings were “just like when in the military, my son was in Iraq for a year.”
“There’s so many members of the military coming back with post traumatic stress after witnessing the violence and participating in these children. These teachers should be focusing on their mental health as well,” he added.
Finally, the identification of the suspect who was engaged in the most recent incident has been revealed. According to earlier accounts, the person in question was a former student who was 28 years old. This shocking discovery, made public by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, sheds additional light on the incident.
Tragically, a 28-year-old person died after a fatal contact with the police. Regrettably, during the event, one of the cops was hurt by shards of glass. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this tragic tragedy, which involved two out of a team of five cops.
Public Affairs Director Don Aaron has reassured the public that the authorities are actively looking into a disruption that recently occurred at a private school run by a church in Nashville. He further confirmed that no members of the Metropolitan Police were working at the aforementioned institution. The Nashville Police Department is still dedicated to upholding openness and preserving community safety as the investigation goes on and more information becomes available.
Aaron stated at a news conference, ‘We do not know who she is at this juncture, we are trying to identify her.”
“This is a church that operates a private school. There were no Metro Police personnel assigned to that school of any kind,” he added.
This was very sad event but the media and the left need to start telling the truth. This person did not have two AK 47 and at the time of the shooting this person was not using an AR 15. Take a look at the video this person was using a Kel Tec sub 2000. This weapon fires a pistol round and uses a pistol mag. Another thing this school did not have security there due to it not being a public school. The shooter had another target but picked the school due to the lack of security. Having armed security does not turn our schools into a prison it makes them safer because cowards do not want to encounter any armed response because they are cowards that will always attack someone weaker then them.
Agree, the people who do this type of killing are cowards with mental illness issues and would not do this to a school that had security personnel watching over the school.
People need to realize it isn’t the gun that is the problem and start focusing on the mental health issues we face in our society that is the real problem
I made the same observation on the gun issue when the story first appeared. When you have someone like Joe acting as if he knows what the hell he is talking about, it makes his supporters blind to the real truth. The shooter had two hand guns not two assault rifles{whatever the hell those are} The magazines were the 10-12 shot size. Biden needs to stay the hell out of the “information” business because he does not know what he is supposed to say. Let the local police give the weapon information Joe!
