Disney “has had a long-standing association with Out & Equal, the group organizing the event, and is listed on its website as one of its most generous supporters,” according to the Tampa Bay Times. “Lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender rights in the workplace” will be advanced at the conference.
The Out & Equal website claims that, “Over more than 20 years, Summit has grown to become the preferred place to network and share strategies that create inclusive workplaces, where everyone belongs and where LGBTQ+ employees can be out and thrive.”
Get ready for a special event taking place at the magnificent Walt Disney World Resort from September 11–14. The CIA, the State Department, and titans like Amazon, Uber, Apple, McDonald’s, Walmart, John Deere, Boeing, Hilton, and Cracker Barrel are just a few of the prominent figures you can interact with. This conference, which is anticipated to draw over 5,000 attendees, is essential for everyone who wants to keep on top of the competition. Don’t pass up this wonderful chance to interact, gain knowledge, and succeed!
The conference was conducted in Las Vegas last year and “comes after a yearlong fight between the firm and the Republican governor,” Ron DeSantis, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Following the passage of the Parental Rights in Education legislation in Florida, Disney executives were shown bragging about prioritizing progressive programming in the leaked video from March 2022. This law forbids sexuality-related conversations in primary schools, but activists incorrectly referred to it as the “don’t speak gay” law. Latoya Raveneau, the executive producer, bravely admitted that she had a “not-at-all covert gay agenda” in her work.
In a startling change of events, the famed Disney corporation was challenged by the governor of Florida in April 2022. Following the release of multiple recordings, the governor pledged to revoke a coveted privilege that gave Disney control over their own theme park. In January, the governor made good on his promise and replaced Disney’s self-governance with a state-run board. It was a brave move.
DeSantis said, “Today, the corporate kingdom finally comes to an end. This is what accountability looks like.”
