Trump’s BIG Statement About His Presidential Candidacy

It was the ex-president Trump’s response to inquiries regarding prospective criminal charges that caused significant confusion and assertions of entering “uncharted territory” during his recent speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference.

President Trump maintains his composure in the face of criticism while dealing with two impeachments, an FBI search of his house, and continuing investigations by a Justice Department that has become politicized. The events of the previous week have shown exactly how detrimental the left’s strategies may be to their own objectives.

Newsmax White House reporter James Rosen questioned President Trump about his intentions for a prospective campaign run in 2024 if he were to be indicted on Saturday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland.

“BREAKING NEWS: I asked @realDonaldTrump during his Q/A with reporters @CPAC if he will stay in the race for the @WhiteHouse if he is indicted,” Rosen posted to Twitter. “‘Oh, absolutely. I wouldn’t even think about leaving,’ he said, adding: ‘Probably it will enhance my numbers.’”

After hearing the remark, renowned New York Times writer and novelist Maggie Haberman penned an insightful response to Donald Trump. “We are in uncharted territory and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.”

She proactively wrote an opinion piece for The Times on Saturday because she was unable to let the matter go and said that Trump was using his campaign tactics as a sort of self-defense.

“Several people close to Mr. Trump have said he believes his presidential campaign can be used as a cudgel to hit back against the prosecutors,” she asserted. “In his remarks on Saturday, Mr. Trump repeatedly cast the prosecutors as corrupt and politically motivated, citing no evidence. As he has for years, he cast the investigations not as a result of his own actions, but as an effort to silence the voices of his supporters.”

Trump’s lack of support has a long history. Yet, this article chose to concentrate on claims relating to his role in the Capitol breach earlier this year rather than acknowledging the many exonerations he has previously faced for same accusations.

The leading GOP presidential candidate for 2024 enthusiastically spoke on behalf of the American people at CPAC, a gathering place for Republican leaders and supporters. Many in attendance at this historic gathering, including Mark Levin, Matt Gaetz (FL), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), and Kari Lake—the previous contender for governor of Arizona in 2022—heeded his words. He made a powerful case for why they should all stick together in the continuing struggle to save our country. “I am your warrior, I am your justice. And for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.”

“For seven years, you and I have been engaged in an epic struggle to rescue our country from the people who hate it and want to absolutely destroy it,” he continued. “The sinister forces trying to kill America have done everything they can to stop me, to silence you, and to turn this nation into a socialist dumping ground for criminals, junkies, Marxist thugs and radicals, and dangerous refugees that no other country wants.”

“They know that we can defeat them, they know that we will defeat them,” Trump stated later, “but they’re not coming after me — they’re coming after you. And I’m just standing in their way. And that’s why I’m here today. That’s why I’m standing before you — because we are going to finish what we started.”
