“You’ve got to be smart, you’ve got to be respected, you’ve got to have a conservative voice and common sense. We’re not talking about conservative, we’re talking about common sense,” Trump said.

In a recent interview, President Trump revealed the criteria he would use to choose his running mate, giving the impression that the process was already well under way. According to Politico, an unidentified adviser said that Mr. Trump is looking for someone who can leave their imprint as a member of the 45th presidential ticket of the United States and fits certain requirements and expectations. “from three general lanes of candidates: women, conservatives of color, or a trusted adviser.”

“Once you get past those two issues — loyalty and Trump going more with his gut — Trump has a lot of leeway in who he would pick,” Tony Fabrizio, a well-known pollster for President Donald Trump’s two electoral victories, had a distinctive viewpoint on the outcomes.

“He’s not necessarily looking to balance the ticket geographically, but what he can do is pick to balance gender, race, ethnicity — a lot of different lanes there. It could be everything from a Tim Scott in South Carolina to an Asian American in California, or somebody Hispanic in Texas. There are so many choices and paths. And there’s lots of time to go,” he added.

Donald Trump has four powerful Republican women on his roster of potential candidates for politics in the future. Kristi Noem of South Dakota and Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas are the governors of their respective states, while former Arizona journalist Kari Lake completes this outstanding group. Elise Stefanik of New York is the representative on Capitol Hill.

According to The Washington Examiner:

Sarah Sanders is establishing a reputation for herself in politics. Her career was further boosted following an impressive response to Vice President Biden’s State of the Union address on February 7th, one that supporters have described as “exceptionally strong.” She is known as both the youngest governor in America and longest-serving press secretary under President Trump.

Noem, who had served in the House of Representatives for more than a decade, made history in 2018 when she was elected as South Dakota’s first female governor. She is regarded as one of the most significant government personalities of the present day since she is a powerful Republican legislator with strong opinions on the “culture wars,” as the current social conflicts are sometimes referred to.

Since her election in 2015, Rep. Stefanik has led the way for the Republican party. She solidified her position in Washington by tenaciously supporting President Trump throughout his first impeachment hearing. She is well-known as the president’s friend and recently supported his 2024 bid only days before it was announced, solidifying her place at the head of the country’s right-wing movement.

Lake managed to leave a lasting impact on the former President despite losing her bid for governor in 2022 thanks to her continuous allegations of electoral fraud. Many of the current and former Trump aides see her candidacy as an odd decision, and they earnestly hope that it won’t be made.

While her name was not among those cited in the Washington Examiner’s research, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has recently been the subject of media attention.

According to NBC’s Jonathan Allen, Greene has talked with a number of individuals who have been informed “about her weighty ambitions,” as observed by Mediaite. “The second-term congresswoman has managed to align herself with the top Republican in the House, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), acting as one of the Republican’s most vocal allies in his fight to become House speaker.”

“This is no shrinking violet, she’s ambitious — she’s not shy about that, nor should she be, ”stated Steve Bannon, the “War Room” podcast’s popular presenter and a former senior political advisor to Donald Trump.

“She sees herself on the shortlist for Trump’s VP. Paraphrasing Cokie Roberts, when MTG looks in the mirror she sees a potential president smiling back,” He continued, mentioning the late political reporter who contributed to ABC News, NPR, and other media.
