“Blue Lives Matter” Tour Comes To Dem-run Cities

In order to help law enforcement in well-known Florida communities that are now dealing with increased crime as well as political pressure, Governor Ron DeSantis has set out on a tour. His journey is a part of an initiative to improve police operations while reestablishing public safety throughout the state.

The Republican governor is starting a three-city journey through New York City, Philadelphia, and Chicago to push initiatives inside Florida toward hiring new people and supporting current employees in order to address his devotion to law enforcement.

“It’s a law enforcement rally to send a message back to some of our elected officials that the laws that they have enacted in the state of New York are not working — specifically the bail reform laws — and it’s putting my members, detectives and cops in danger, as well as the public,” At a conference held on Monday in Staten Island, Paul DiGiacomo, president of New York City’s Detectives’ Endowment Association, made a note. “It’s gone too far to the left over the last couple of years.”

“On Staten Island, we are proud to support our law enforcement,” The chairman of the Staten Island GOP, Assemblyman Mike Tannousis, said. “I’m happy that our law enforcement community will get some recognition and support.”

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement recently reported that crime in the state has decreased 8%, reaching its lowest level since 1969. This is good news for the Sunshine State.

Many initiatives assisting law enforcement officers are included in the Republican governor’s “Framework for Freedom Budget” for the current fiscal year, including wage increases for a variety of staff members:

A $107.2 million investment would strengthen the FDC’s budget, enabling a large pay increase to ensure that its officers are fairly rewarded. Correctional Officer, Correctional Probation Officer, and Inspector basic pay will now be $23 per hour, in recognition of the crucial role these workers play in preserving public safety across Florida.

By giving $1.8 million for a 4% pay raise, FDLE is displaying their commitment to special agents and law enforcement roles and their concern for the welfare of their staff.

Recently, $6.8 million was given to the FDLE, DLA, State Attorneys, and Courts to recognize sworn law enforcement professionals for their service via unique pay changes in accordance with each wage level.

Florida’s law enforcement personnel just earned a significant raise, receiving $8.5 million more in compensation for their years of service! The extra money goes toward paying the salaries of sworn employees at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Defender Association, State Attorneys, and even Supervision Correctional Services.

The state has pledged $30 million to encourage more people to work as law enforcement professionals. When they join this vital force based on public safety and justice, experienced officers moving from other states and newbies may both look forward to incentive payments of up to $5,000.

“What Florida has done is establish a blueprint for governance that has produced tangible results while serving as a rebuke to the entrenched elites who have driven our nation into the ground. Florida is proof positive that we, the people are not powerless in the face of these elites,” DeSantis wrote.

Although former President Donald Trump and Nikki Haley are already declared candidates for the Republican presidential candidacy in 2024, Governor X looks to be indicating his intention to seek the nomination. It seems that this race will only pick more steam since more nominations are almost certainly on the way!

Although being silent on the subject, Governor DeSantis has made it clear that he may one day seek for a higher post. He offered some details on this potential when speaking to media in Jacksonville.

Nikki Haley, a former UN ambassador and the governor of South Carolina, has entered the run for office. Governor DeSantis was questioned about this most recent development. The well-liked Republican leader was asked whether he will be making his own announcement soon as talk about probable contenders for the position of future US president persists.

“Nikki Haley announced her presidential run today, do you plan on following suit?” the reporter asked.

“Hahaha! Wouldn’t you like to know,” DeSantis laughed in response.
