Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said on Saturday that President Biden should be impeached due to his apparent neglect for the continuing problems in East Palestine and at the US-Mexico border. She also accused him of channeling monies to Ukraine instead.
An alarming leak of harmful chemicals into the environment and a tragic train crash in East Palestine, Ohio, in recent weeks have drawn attention from all around the country.

Until to President Donald Trump’s announcement of a visit this week, the catastrophe had received little attention from the Biden administration or the media.
As President Biden’s first 100 days draw to a close, he is coming under pressure from all sides of the aisle because he has continued to ignore the catastrophe at our country’s borders.
Taylor Greene claimed outright that impeachment proceedings are required owing to the present state of affairs and Biden’s inability to keep the public safe.
“Joe Biden will be impeached,” Taylor Greene responded to a video in which Biden said that US taxpayers will be paying for pensions in Ukraine. “Ukraine is NOT the 51st state!!!”
“We are in over $34 TRILLION in debt, borders invaded daily by the thousands, and Americans have been poisoned in East Palestine,” she continued. ENOUGH!!! IMPEACH BIDEN!!!”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy joins Taylor Greene in criticizing the Biden administration’s handling of immigration at the southern border, with Speaker McCarthy speculating that impeachment proceedings may be required.
McCarthy suggested impeachment as a tactic to get President Biden to take action on the deteriorating southern border crisis because he felt it was time for firm action.
“That is the last thing to which Biden and Democrats want attention called,” he said. “Border security is an 80–20 issue, favoring not so much Republicans (who are far from uniformly solid on upholding immigration law) as individual candidates and officials who demonstrate seriousness about it, most of whom happen to be Republicans.”
Republicans’ “the only available tool” to pressure the White House into action was articles of impeachment.
“Joe Biden is not honoring his oath, and with Congress in a stalemate and state sovereignty nullified, only he can solve the border crisis he’s created. It’s that simple: Either Republicans use the only tool available to them to force Biden’s hand, or they are aiders and abettors,” McCarthy explained. “There is no middle ground.”
