Bruce Willis just learned the terrible news that he has “cruel,” the speech issue he first revealed to the world last year. He’ll face this truth head-on despite the difficult obstacles that lie ahead.
Bruce Willis, 67, revealed on Thursday that he was retiring from acting owing to his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia after a distinguished, decades-long career as an accomplished actor in the “Die Hard” series and other ventures.

“While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” On the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration website, the family made a statement.
“FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone. For people under 60, FTD is the most common form of dementia, and because getting the diagnosis can take years, FTD is likely much more prevalent than we know,” they continued.
According to Bruce Willis’ family, he just received a challenging medical diagnosis. The illness is regarded as having especially severe consequences on people who get it.
“Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce’s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research.”
The declaration, which was signed by Willis’ five kids, his wife Emma Heming, and his ex-wife Demi Moore, also said that if the “Whole Nine Yards” star “could” He would wish to aid in raising awareness of his predicament and bring “global attention and connectedness” to others suffering from the “debilitating disease.”
“Your continued compassion, understanding and respect will enable us to help Bruce live as full a life as possible,” the statement read.
“Bruce has always found joy in life — and has helped everyone he knows to do the same. It has meant the world to see that sense of care echoed back to him and to all of us,” the statement concluded.
“We have been so moved by the love you have all shared for our dear husband, father, and friend during this difficult time. Your continued compassion, understanding, and respect will enable us to help Bruce live as full a life as possible.”
The family received a diagnosis of aphasia in March 2022, which revealed an unforeseen and challenging path ahead.
Willis surpassed all expectations when he kept appearing in public and taking part in musical jam sessions in spite of his battle with aphasia despite a grim initial prognosis. The “Armageddon” actor was predicted by the Mayo Clinic to have serious language problems, but that didn’t stop him from living it up!
Heming, 44, said that she was struggling with “paralyzing” sadness months after receiving the diagnosis.
“I’m learning how to live along side [sic] it,” she wrote on social media.
When his spectacular acting career came to an end, this former star is now content to spend time with his lovely wife Emma Heming and their two priceless kids.
With his former wife Demi Moore, he has three children.
The actress continued by quoting Willis’ daughter Scout, age 31, who said, “Grief is the deepest and purest form of love. I hope you find some comfort in that too.”
