Trump’s VP Could Be One Of These Four Women

After serving as president for four years, Donald Trump is preparing to run again in 2024, and rumors have started to circulate about who may run against him. In his quest for a running partner, several potential candidates have been mentioned in reports this week.

An unnamed Trump aide told Politico that Mr. Trump will probably choose a running partner for his probable 2024 presidential campaign. “from three general lanes of candidates: women, conservatives of color, or a trusted adviser.”

These four Republican women—Gov. Kristi Noem of North Dakota, Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, and former journalist Kari Lake of Arizona—are being looked at by President Trump as potential candidates from all over the country for high-ranking positions in his Administration.

According to The Washington Examiner:

Sarah Sanders’ performance propelled her into political celebrity when she took the stage on February 7 to react to Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech, with Trump fans applauding it as a “exceptionally strong” rebuttal. She subsequently established records during her service as the White House press secretary under President Donald Trump and became the nation’s youngest governor in history.

Noem made history in 2018 when she became the first woman to hold the office of governor of South Dakota. After representing her state in the House of Representatives for more than 10 years, she has long been a prominent Republican player in the “culture wars.”

Congresswoman Stefanik, who was chosen as the chairperson of the House GOP conference in 2017 after being elected as a moderate Republican in 2015, has shifted even more to the right, strengthening her standing among Trump supporters. Days before it was officially revealed, she just backed him for president in 2024, demonstrating her fervent support for a speedy return to the White House.

While Lake’s divisive attempt to become governor of Arizona in 2022 was unsuccessful, her steadfast support for Trump and conviction that fraud tainted the US election in 2020 helped her gain a lot of favor with former President Donald J. Trump. She may not be the best choice, however, for many current and past advisors because of the reputation that goes along with her name.

Given her increasing political stature, recent media speculation has suggested that Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene may be connected to the Washington Examiner piece.

According to Jonathan Allen of NBC, multiple individuals have talked with Greene and have been informed “about her weighty ambitions,” Mediaite noted. “The second-term congresswoman has managed to align herself with the top Republican in the House, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), acting as one of the Republican’s most vocal allies in his fight to become House speaker.”

“This is no shrinking violet, she’s ambitious — she’s not shy about that, nor should she be,” stated Steve Bannon, the “War Room” podcast’s popular presenter and a former senior political advisor to Donald Trump.

“She sees herself on the shortlist for Trump’s VP. Paraphrasing Cokie Roberts, when MTG looks in the mirror she sees a potential president smiling back,” He continued, mentioning the late political reporter who contributed to ABC News, NPR, and other media.

Steve Bannon, presenter of the “War Room” podcast, said this week in an interview with NBC News: “This is no shrinking violet, she’s ambitious — she’s not shy about that, nor should she be. … She sees herself on the shortlist for Trump’s VP.”

When Greene “looks in the mirror, she sees a potential president smiling back,” Bannon noted further.

“She’s both strategic and disciplined — she made a power move, knowing it would run up hard against her most ardent crew,” Bannon added. “She was prepared to take the intense heat/hatred short-term for the long-term goal of being a player.”

Robert Draper of the New York Times Magazine was a guest on MSNBC in October to discuss allegations that Republican firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene had suggested working with Donald Trump in 2021.

“To be fair, it’s very likely that Trump has had this conversation with half a dozen other people too,” He explained to interviewer Ali Velshi that Greene could, nevertheless, possess a quality that other Republican women lack.

“What Greene possesses that Trump so craves is loyalty. She has always been there for Trump. She has always had his back and after his experience with his last running mate, Mike Pence, it’s clear that he’s going to prize loyalty above all else, so I wouldn’t count it out,” he said.

In a recent interview with The Daily Beast’s “New Abnormal” podcast, Draper remarked “that Greene had risen quickly in her first term in Congress by using the same tactics she honed as a right-wing social media influencer harassing Democratic staffers, and she could shoot to the second-highest office in government,” Raw Story reported.

“Republicans kind of wanted to kick her to the curb immediately,” said Draper, per the outlet. “But instead, she became a fundraising dynamo, came to have this huge social media influence, and ultimately came to be very influential within the party itself.”

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has been under President Trump’s active consideration as a potential vice president choice since February.

“[Trump] has every reason to expect that Greene would be by his side and would be his proximate warrior” Draper said that this was through thick and thin.

  1. Tulsi Gabbord would be a far better choice in terms of someone women everywhere can relate to. She is also better spoken.
