Pentagon: Second Chinese Spy Balloon Found

The Department of Defense revealed last Friday that a Chinese spy plane had been spotted flying over Latin America in apparent violation of international law. China has been accused of deploying such aircraft into international airspace without authorization twice this year, according to the event.

The U.S. government released two surveillance balloons on Friday; one was traced as it moved eastward and was watched for reports to be sent to President Biden’s national security staff. According to CNN claims from officials, the other balloon appeared to be headed for a non-American destination and fully avoiding the United States.

“We are seeing reports of a balloon transiting Latin America. We now assess it is another Chinese surveillance balloon,” Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder, press secretary, affirmed in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Reports of an explosion at the Montanan airbase in Billings were widely circulated on social media, prompting the rapid arrival of military planes. A defense official swiftly refuted the assertion, assuring that no actual catastrophe had taken place – it was just a video scam!

Secretary Antony Blinken postponed his trip to China after the Department of Defense detected a rise in Chinese surveillance planes. He quickly changed course and postponed this particular diplomatic meeting until emotions subsided.

China angrily refuted American allegations that a balloon seen close to military installations was being used for espionage, claiming it had simply drifted off course in choppy weather. The Department of Defense refuted these assertions with data that backed up their own viewpoint.

“The fact is we know that it’s a surveillance balloon, and I’m not going to be able to be more specific than that. And we do know that the balloon has violated U.S. airspace and international law, which is unacceptable,” Ryder said.

A magnificent balloon is soaring to the skies at an incredible 60,000 feet, flying high above the clouds and out of the way of regular air traffic. This enormous aircraft in the sky holds out the promise of fascinating new possibilities, even though its maneuverability is currently unknown.

The National Security Council and the Chinese Embassy in America declined requests for comment.
