Joe Biden, the Vice President, has had his fair share of embarrassing gaffes in public, ranging from playing about on the lawn of the White House to saying things that were taken out of context. Nevertheless, he continues to be a competent leader at all times, despite the fact that he sometimes makes mistakes.
On Thursday, Vice President Biden delivered a speech on the economy, which soon drew the attention of those following events on social media due to bad background images. In spite of the fact that the White House had billed it as a report on the “economic progress” of the United States, viewers’ attention was diverted by pictures that seemed to have been completely unexpected.

On Thursday, the President delivered a speech to a steamfitters union hall in Springfield, Virginia. Behind the President’s platform, a placard that said, “President Biden’s Blueprint For America.” Underneath that message, the sign read, “good jobs, lower costs, better pay.”
The sharp difference between what was spoken and the images that accompanied it was brought to light by Christian Martinez, the deputy press secretary for Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin. This disparity is a dismal representation of the reality that exists.
“Did anyone in the Biden administration check the logos? Because that’s definitely an American worker working for less money,” Martinez tweeted.
Martinez has made a point-perfect argument. Clearly, the photos were not intended to signify what it seems that they mean; yet, my my, what a massive “yikes” in terms of how they appear to the viewer. The photographs, taken by themselves, gave the impression of depicting a situation in which employees in Biden’s America earned less money.
“Trust us, American workers, we know,” one Twitter user responded.

The president’s address did not directly address the issues that Americans are currently struggling with; instead, he chose to highlight Thursday’s positive news regarding the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) – a rise of 2.9 percent that was met with optimism but still leaves unanswered many of our nation’s most pressing economic problems. During his address, the president failed to directly face the issues that Americans are currently struggling with.
“I’m not sure the news could have been any better — economic growth is up stronger than experts expected, 2.9 percent,” Biden explained it to people who were present in the union hall.
“I don’t think it’s unfair to say that this is all evidence that Biden economic plan is actually working,” the president added.
Biden also couldn’t help but take a jab at Republicans in the House, namely those vile “MAGA Republicans” who he has a long-standing animosity with.
“MAGA Republicans in the House of Representatives are threatening to destroy this economy, this progress. Look, this ain’t your father’s Republican Party. It’s a different breed of cat,” Biden said.
The effects of lower wages are still being felt by employees in the United States, despite the attempts of Vice President Joe Biden to revitalize the economy. The figures kept by the government indicate that real earnings for people have seen a decrease over the course of the last year and continue to stay low despite the progress that has been made in the overall recovery.
“From December 2021 to December 2022, real average hourly earnings decreased 1.1 percent, seasonally adjusted. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with a decrease of 0.9 percent in the average workweek resulted in a 2.0-percent decrease in real average weekly earnings over this period,” the BLS website noted.
Despite the difficult state the economy is in right now, Vice President Joe Biden used his address today to make an impassioned appeal on behalf of American families. Unhappily, though, hard-working people are all too aware with the lack of development, which means that our present predicament as citizens has not improved.
Before we go into any celebrations of the nation’s improving economy, let’s first address this critical problem, which is generating pandemonium in grocery stores around the country: the countrywide egg shortage.
