In light of the Biden document incident, Kentucky Republican Rep. James Comer said on Sunday that “connections” between China’s governing party and the Biden family raise major issues.
“I think most Americans would be shocked if they saw how many connections the Biden family has to people directly affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party,”

The head of the House Oversight Committee, Comer, said “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo. “It’s very startling.”
“I took the president at his word when the first set of documents were found at the Biden Center for Diplomacy that he had just inadvertently misplaced those documents,” Comer said. “But now this has gone from being irresponsible to downright scary. This has all the pattern of an influence-peddling scheme and, you know, it also has the makings of a potential cover-up. I mean, five different locations at least?”

Comer has spoken on the event after a weekend surprise FBI search of President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, which turned up several secret papers. More private documents were found by Mr. Biden’s lawyers not just at his residence but also in an office he had previously used, as well as in objects found in the garage and other areas of his estate.
“Who knows what those personal attorneys have been doing, and when you look at all the things our investigation is covering with respect to the influence peddling, there’s a lot of connections with the CCP directly to both Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden’s uncle Jim and Joe Biden,” Comer added.
Following a New York Post article that said he had met with some of Hunter Biden’s Chinese business associates, President Biden recently faced criticism. He has denied knowing about and being involved in his son’s business transactions, as well as that they breached any laws. Evidence also showed that he drafted college recommendation letters for the kids of a colleague who was involved in this incident.
The Daily Caller News Foundation contacted the White House, but received no official comment.
