The Department of Justice searched Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, for 13 hours on Friday. Bob Bauer, Mr. Biden’s personal lawyer, said that throughout this exceptional procedure, further sensitive material was discovered.
It is clear that Biden’s home and office have been carefully examined since November 2nd in light of the recent finding of a fifth collection of sensitive materials in his hands. This represents the fifth batch to be discovered between searches made at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., and a Delaware home, which is a fascinating trend to take into account as 2021 progresses.
“BREAKING: President Biden’s personal attorney says DOJ searched Biden’s Wilmington home on Friday and discovered 6 more classified documents, which they took possession of. Some of the documents were from Biden’s time in the Senate, others from his time as VP,” Bill Melugin of Fox News reported this on Twitter.
In response to Melugin’s tweet, Musk said that to save everyone’s time, Biden’s legal team could just inform us of the whereabouts of any confidential papers that Biden not own.
“Where have they not found classified documents? That might be a shorter list,” Musk trolled.
Former Vice President Joe Biden’s legal counsel responded after secret materials were found in his home on Saturday. Further developments have still to be observed, but this notable occurrence has received a lot of attention.
“DOJ requested that the search not be made public in advance, in accordance with its standard procedures, and we agreed to cooperate,” his attorney Bob Bauer said.
“DOJ had full access to the President’s home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules, and reminders going back decades,” Bauer added. “DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years.”
