42 Counties Standing Up To The Border Invasion

The tension at the US-Mexico border is rising as the number of illegal immigrants keeps rising. This already difficult situation has only been made worse by Joe Biden’s focus on appealing to Black voters and his harmful policies towards the gas and oil industries.

An unprecedented influx of immigrants has overwhelmed Texas counties, causing 42 of them to ask Gov. Greg Abbott for assistance in declaring an invasion at the border.

The United States experienced an unprecedented level of immigration in December. A record-breaking 220,000 migrants were stopped as they tried to enter US territory, which is cause for concern.

After almost two decades, the southern border of America saw an incredible inflow of migrants last month, rising to the second-highest levels since President Bill Clinton took office!

In response to the “invasion” of undocumented migrants, 42 counties in Texas have taken action amid escalating tensions at the US-Mexico border. Clay County even went so far as to adopt a resolution calling for Governor Greg Abbott to take more action to counter this alleged threat.

Earlier this month, Judge Mike Campbell told local media, “I think about all the things that we could use that money for instead of what they’re using it for right now. But the governor needs to understand that we back him on that, and we get it. We understand that it’s a problem and that, while we wish the federal government would take care of it, they’re not doing it right now.”

A resolution supporting border counties “experiencing local disaster circumstances as a result of insufficient border protection” has been signed by the county commissioners and the judge of Harrison County, Chad Sims.

A resolution urging Governor Abbott to use the state militia to defend Texas’ southern communities against Mexican drug gangs was just approved by the Texas legislature. These paramilitary organizations pose a grave threat to the local Texans with their pervasive risk of violence and human trafficking. Lawmakers believe that swift action will maintain safety beyond their borders, therefore they have referred to Article IV, Section 7 of the Constitution, which permits defense against insurrection or invasion.

Franklin County Judge Scott Lee explicitly called on Gov. Greg Abbott, “as the Commander-in-Chief of the Texas National Guard” to “make a formal declaration of invasion thereby invoking the state authority under the invasion clause of the US Constitution, Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3.”

In his resolution, Lee warns that “transnational narco-terrorist cartels… have seized de facto operational control between the points of entry on the southern Texas border facilitating massive human smuggling, trafficking, operations, [and] a deadly drug trade, including fentanyl.”
